An Xciting job fair with a difference

Jobseekers can now attend workshops and CV surgeries at Harrow Council’s Xcite Employment and Training Fair on April 28.

Come along if you’re looking for a new job, or simply want to learn or brush up on skills.

Workshops range from business start ups, course information, money management and universal credit. These along with the CV surgeries are designed to help residents get more out of the employment and training fair by giving them direct contact with experts who will help improve their CV’s and also provide practical advice and tips when applying for jobs.

The following workshops and CV surgeries will be held:

  • NatWest: Business Start Up
  • Adult Community Learning: Courses
  • CAP: Money Management
  • Learn Direct: Personal Presentation
  • Positive Directions and Job Centre Plus: Universal Credit
  • Remploy

Residents will also able to mingle with potential employers and training providers who will have jobs and training opportunities on offer. Those exhibiting include BHS, NatWest Bank, Everyone Active, Mary Kay Cosmetics, MetLife, Forever Living, care companies, colleges and many more.

The job fair takes place on Monday, 28 April, at Harrow Civic Centre, from 11am to 3pm.
